The most famous hole on the course aptly named “The Pulpit” because of the height of the tee in relation to the fairway below.
From the tee it is Death or Glory; most players find the temptation to have a go well nigh irresistible. Should your tee shot miss the huge rocks, bracken, gorse, TV masts, heather and wooden steps and many other nasty impediments on its flight to the fairway below, you are left with a fairly straight forward shot to the green.
A most enjoyable and rare hole.
